Kate Hayes, Assistant News Editor
Kate is a first-year from Austin, Texas. She likes grimy antique shops, curating playlists, and etymology. Her favorite word is “bramble.” On campus, she is also the Co-Secretary for Snaggletooth Magazine and hosts a show on WRBC 91.5FM.
Kate began writing for the Student in her first semester and now serves as the Assistant News Editor.
