Amelia Killackey is a junior from Brooklyn, New York with a major in History and a minor in Religious Studies. You can find them holding court in Commons playing a very intense game of double BananaGrams, serving up cups of joe at the Ronj or running the Art Museum's (free to Bates students) live figure drawing sessions.

Amelia has been assisting at The Student with layout for the past couple months and is excited to join the team full time as the Managing Layout Editor this year. In the past, Amelia has worked on the editorial board for her high school newspaper, The Packer Prism, and has had her work published several times in the Vermont weekly newspaper, The Vermont Standard.
